Chris Morrison is a global voice in safeguarding and social work leadership, committed to developing the next generation of safeguarding leaders worldwide. With over 15 years of professional experience across Children and Families Social Work, Chris combines strategic insight with compassionate practice to create environments where both professionals and children can truly thrive.
A recognised specialist in Child Protection, Childhood Trauma, and Care Experience, Chris has led and developed teams working across every layer of Children’s Services from Looked After Children and Unaccompanied Minors to specialist areas such as Domestic Violence, Substance Misuse, and Private Fostering. His leadership approach is built on clarity, fairness, and deep analytical thinking, consistently delivering work of exceptional quality and long-term impact.

With experience spanning frontline practice to senior management, I bring both strategic oversight and grounded understanding to every decision. My work centres on analysing complex child protection situations and making clear, confident judgments that align with statutory safeguarding standards.
CPD SAFEGUARDING TRAINING
I deliver high-impact safeguarding training, both one-to-one and in group settings designed to equip professionals with the confidence, clarity, and competence to lead in safeguarding practice. All courses are CPD-accredited and built around real-world application, not just theory.
AUDITS & CONSULTANCY
I deliver in-house safeguarding audits across key areas in education and local authorities, ensuring practice is strong, compliant, and effective. I also provide expert consultancy on policy reviews, managing allegations, and DSL guidance. Clear advice that strengthens leadership and safeguards outcomes.
